2010/2011 USCC/USCC East Rule Changes

1) For 2010-2011, the 1.25" minimum track lug height requirement will be extended to all of the 600cc classes. This means that in addition to the existing Pro, Pro Open, Semi Pro and Semi-Pro Improved classes, the Vet 30, Masters 40, Legends 50, Sport 600, Sport 600 Improved and Women's class racers who run a 600cc sled MUST have a track with the lug height of 1.25" or greater in order to be legal.

2) Additional helmet certification. In addition to the current SNELL 2005 certification requirement, helmets that meet either the European Standard ECE 22.05 or have a SNELL 2010 certification will also be legal to use this season. As always, the helmet must be at least 75% orange in color.

3) Racer numbers mounted on the snowmobile can be placed either on the hood or side panels on the front of the machine OR mounted on the rear tunnel of the sled. However, regardless of placement, all numbers MUST be mounted on a contrasting color background for easy viewing by course officials. Sleds with numbers deemed too hard to read by USCC tech officials may be disqualified.

4) Vintage rules for 2010-2011 have changed. Please refer to the "2011 USCC VINTAGE CLASS RULES" for further information.

5) NEW RE-FUELLING RULES WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT A LATER DATE. PLEASE CHECK THE WEBSITE FOR FURTHER INFORMATION.
