Bunke claims USCC season point titles!

Polaris rider Gabe Bunke claimed USCC season point championships in both the Sled Head 24/7 Pro 600 class and the Stud Boy Pro Open class after a season filled with top-5 finishes.

Although he never won a race in the Sled Head 24/7 Pro 600 class during the season, Bunke was able to dethrone defending point champion Bryan Dyrdahl by a narrow five point margin. Heading into the final day at the season-ending Munising 300 race, Bunke needed to finish at least 5th to clinch his first point title. True to form, he rode his 2007 Polaris IQ 600 to a smooth fourth-place finish which gave him the points necessary to wrap up the fourth USCC Pro 600 point championship for Polaris in five years.

Bunke was also crowned point champion in the Stud Boy Pro Open class, defending his Pro Open title from 2006. Other USCC season point champions are:
